Card Processing Security
Over the last decade the use of electronic payment methods has grown exponentially and so has the opportunity for theft. In the last few years we have seen companies as large as Heartland Payment Systems and TJ Maxx/Marshalls experience serious security breaches. These infractions are publicized, but there are many more that occur in smaller companies that are not.
The Payment Card Industries Data Security Council was developed and founded by the major payment brands including; JCB, MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express to create a set of comprehensive requirements for enhancing payment account data security. The core of the PCI DSS is a group of principles and accompanying requirements, around which the specific elements of the DSS are organized:
- Build and Maintain a Secure Network
- Protect Cardholder Data
- Maintain a Vulnerability Management Program
- Implement Strong Access Control Measures
- Regularly Monitor and Test Networks
- Maintain an Information Security Policy

Detection and Problem Solving - In the case that a computer on your network contracts a virus, spyware, malware or any other potentially hazardous file IT Assurance can detect and remove the harmful materials before they can do any damage and most frequently before you ever realize you have a problem.

These reports can be generated to show that you take PCI Security seriously and have implemented the highest levels of security by allowing IT Assurance to do your due diligence.
